hello
         i have come with the problem that i have to use GSM modem . or 
any other device which can be controlled by atmel microcontroller. but 
i dont nothing about GSM modem and its interfacing with atmel. plz help 
me.

GSM modems are quite complicated. Why not start with an LED?

u  can  controll  gsm  modem  by  AT  command .conect  avr  to  modem
 by  Rs232 and control  modem  by  AT command
