Gave the VF-1 a first whirl at band practice this week as an insert on the e-drum mixer channel. Took even the most wimpy sounding drum patch and turned it into amazing electronica goodness. Dream come true! Someday, if I'm lucky, my band will actually come up with a full 30 minute original set of music so I can get some live video of VF-1 e-drum action. --- In BossVF1@yahoogroups.com, "Ryan" <rwrubleski@...> wrote: > > Nice! Really groovy use of the VF-1 for something most people wouldn't think of doing. You sure seem able to pull great sounds out of this thing on a variety of sources. *thumbs up* > > > --- In BossVF1@yahoogroups.com, "gastric123" <chris@> wrote: > > > > Added some drum processing clips to my page. There's no drum specific algorithm on the VF-1 but many of them sound pretty good with drums. In particular the lofi processor has my ear right now for some badass electronica dirty sounds. > > > > Note I discovered you can use LOFI for a pure LP / BP / HP filter by soloing wet and enabling ONLY the filter portion of the lofi effect.
