I whipped up a quick webpage to host my VF-1 samples and patches. Don't expect a huge trove of data or frequent updates on the page as I don't actually use my VF-1 that often. But I did save a couple of bass riffs that can theoretically reuse easily to process through the VF-1 for some demos in the future as I continue to use the box. http://cgraham.com/chris/music/bass/vf-1/ Enjoy, Gastric

I think I've reached the pinnacle of the synth tracking and performance with regular 4 string bass guitar. Check out the latest 2 clips on my VF-1 page: http://cgraham.com/chris/music/bass/vf-1/

Added some drum processing clips to my page. There's no drum specific algorithm on the VF-1 but many of them sound pretty good with drums. In particular the lofi processor has my ear right now for some badass electronica dirty sounds. Note I discovered you can use LOFI for a pure LP / BP / HP filter by soloing wet and enabling ONLY the filter portion of the lofi effect. WOOT! http://cgraham.com/chris/music/bass/vf-1/

Nice! Really groovy use of the VF-1 for something most people wouldn't think of doing. You sure seem able to pull great sounds out of this thing on a variety of sources. *thumbs up* --- In BossVF1@yahoogroups.com, "gastric123" <chris@...> wrote:

Gave the VF-1 a first whirl at band practice this week as an insert on the e-drum mixer channel. Took even the most wimpy sounding drum patch and turned it into amazing electronica goodness. Dream come true! Someday, if I'm lucky, my band will actually come up with a full 30 minute original set of music so I can get some live video of VF-1 e-drum action. --- In BossVF1@yahoogroups.com, "Ryan" <rwrubleski@...> wrote:

Rad! Glad to hear that. You, sir, put that thing to impressive use. Some video would be great, so if you ever get around to shooting one I'd definitely watch it. Plus I'm already pretty sure I'll dig the tunes you guys are making. --- In BossVF1@yahoogroups.com, "gastric123" <chris@...> wrote:

Bumping this to the top for any new users that stumble across this lonely Yahoo group. :) About twice a year someone contacts me from my VF-1 webpage asking questions, such as "where is the editor, it's offline" Enjoy! :) --- In BossVF1@yahoogroups.com, "gastric123" <chris@...> wrote:
