i had the same problem and called Roland for
help.
They gave my some button-combinations.
I have to say that this "help" has REALLY
killed my VF-1.
On starting up, nothing was shown any
more.
Only blank screen.
I called again the Roland Service and sent the VF-1
for repairing to them.
Did I say this was nine weeks
ago?
And they´re still
repairing............
Some days ago I asked, when they will sent back my
VF-1 to me.
They said, they´re so sorry, but a special
replacement part must be requested from Japan.
I shall still have a little
patience..........
