The fc-200, again, controlling the vf-1 and a Fender Cyber Twin Amplifier at the same time. It should be possiblle, I'm not familiar with the Cyber Twin, check it's MIDI connections. If there is a Midi thru, no problem, if there isn't you'll need a seperate midi splitter to connect midi devices. The VF- 1 has only midi out as far as I understand. This means that the midi messages from the fc-200 do not flow Thru the vf-1's Midi Out. A Midi Thru transmits all the signals unchanged received from the Midi In, Midi Out does only transmit the signals generated by the device itself, correct me if I'm wrong. This means: if you hook up the fc - 200 up to the VF's midi in the VF's Midi out will not have the fc-200's midi message anymore. My fc-200 sometimes controls a gp-100, an Ada mp-1 and the vf-1. The vf has midi in and out, the Ada and the Gp-100 also have a midi thru. The midi chain has to be Ada(midi in-thru)-Gp (midi in-thru)-Vf-1, the gp and the ada can be switched but the vf has to be at the end of the line because it has no Midi thru but only out. The ada has 64 user patches, the gp has 200 and the vf has 202. Well, if I press my fc-200 for a patch change all 3 devices go to the same patch. The "only" thing I have to do is tweaking each patch 'till I'm satisfied. CC commands are still possible, just watch out what youre sending. Also it's possibble to go into the VF's menu, the vf doesn't respond to programchange messages, youre Cyber Twin will. Greetings, hope it's any help/use Sjaak in Euroland >>I've got a FC-200 and an VF-1 and they both function fine.. so far >i'm happy..
