Boss VF-1 Effect Processor

If I was able to find a manual for the VF online somewhere it would 
answer all of my questions. But no! So now I have to ask here.

I already have a couple of older Roland/Box effects units, the SX-700 
and SE-70, and both of those have some extreme effects that nobody 
else has. I'm wondering if the phaseshifter in the VF-1 is similar to 
the SE-70 in that it can go up to 40 stages? Does it also have other 
effects in series or parallel with it, such as delay and Parametric 
EQ?

Both the SX and SE also have some other extreme effects, such as 5 
band pass delay, super chorus made up of 16 chorus units, 20 tap 
delay, 12 voice pitch shifter, band chorus, etc. I'm wondering if the 
VF-1 also includes these same kinds of mega-effects, or something 
similar?
