Boss VF-1 Effect Processor

Does anyone know if its possible to program cubase to
send the VF1 checksum data?

Cubase seems to only contain a few preset checksum formulae
for its mixermaps and the VF1 does not use the standard roland
checksum.

My aim is to create a mixermap for editing patches on
the VF1 because i cant get the vf1 editor to send midi data.

It's not currently possible to create a mixermap for the VF1 with cubase,
due to it's unusuall checksum requirement. I tried to do this myself and 
ended
up creating a seperate program. Sorry for the bad news.
