new algorithms?

new algorithms?

2002-09-03 by Derek Wyatt

Hey folks,

You'll have to forgive if this is a stupid question... i just got my
VF-1 a few days ago so i'm still a rank newbie on this guy.

I'm a wind synth player and use this thing for some stuff that is
probably very different than the norm. It's definately a wicked
little box and i haven't had any need for new algorithms at this
point but i'm kind of wondering if there is any ability to build new
algorithms if one needs them?

Would you ever need to design a new algo, or is every effect
available in a single algo (guitar multi 1/2 perhaps)? If not then
is there a way to design a new algo and dump it via midi?

Thanks,
Derek

A big NO for us the users and a little yes, but this yes is only for the
Boss factory engineers.

No, the vf-1 does have it's limitations

No, not to my knowledge
