Using a VF-1 with a Penny Whistle

I bought my VF-1 primarily for use with my acoustic guitar, however, I also would like to use it to add body and depth to the sound of my pennywhistle which I clip a condensor microphone onto for live performances. Any have any experience doing this and have any suggestions of patch settings which might be good? Allen
