Well I asked about a month ago and got no response, so let me ask again. Does the phaseshifter in the VF-1 allow the user to set the number of stages from 4 up to 40? I'm thinking of replacing my older Roland SE-70 effects unit with an VF1, and I need that particular effect. Thanks for any info. -Elhardt

Hi Elhardt, No, the VF-1 only has 4-6-8-10 and 12 stages . stephen
