Tuner on/off with Boss foot controller FC-50

2003-04-05 by holger jagersberger

Hi,
is it possible to switch on/off the tuner-function with the foot controller
FC-50?

And above all: HOW?

Greetings from Austria,
Holger

Yes it is possible.

But I don't own a fc-50 but a fc-200 so you haven to figure out a few things
yourself.
For the Vf-1 part: You have to use one off the assignable controls, scroll
through the (asssignable control) menu and look for: "Target Tuner on/off.

You have to make a few more settings in this department, read the VF's and
the fc-50's manual for the CC nr you have to select to send from the FC-50
to the VF and how to do this.

I use my roland Gp-100 and fc-200 like this: The fc-200 has a CTL switch
witch sends Midi Control Command Number 80 (CC#80) when I press it.

One of the assignable controls of the GP-100 is set to CC#80 to switch on
the tuner on as long as I keep on pressing the CTL button/switch.

I've done the same kind of thing with the VF in the Past
