Boss VF-1 Effect Processor

Hey!

I just bought VF-1 and FCB 1010 and it has been pain in the ass to 
fugure this out. And I still ahven't done it! :( With the FCB1010 u 
can control processor and my Marshall (chanell switching). But, can 
I do the two things at the same time? Cause I really like distortion 
from my marshall, cause VF-1 dist. sux!!, and I want to use only 
FCB1010, but I can't figure it out how to cotrol these two things 
together. So taht one one knob (nr.1) would be clean, on nmbr.2 
there would be distortion, on nmbr. 3 there would be clean with 
corus, on nmbr. 4 dist. with flanger...   Can I do that?
Or, if anyone can tell me, what is the best solution to command your 
amp and VF-1 only with FCB1010
