On second thought: Are you sure someone replaced them? If you did not have midi-ox installed before but now have midi-on on your system, it is possible that the files are still the same, but your computer has now associated *.syx as midi-ox files--meaning that your computer will default to midi-ox when you try to open a *.syx file.

If this is waht really happened (not that someone overwrote the original files), then all you have to do is associate *.syx files with a different program (or none at all).

If I am right, depending on which OS you have, you will have different methods to re-associate the *.syx files.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
