Casio CZ/VZ Files... part of CZsynth

    I have added new patch lists to the files section, in the VZ docs folder. The lists I have added are for Cliff's set number four and the RC-130 European set 1 patches. Hope you folks find these usefull.

    Did anyone else get annoyed that the guy who recently uploaded all of the rom card files overwrote the files that were previously listed here in syx format with the midiox format? I did.

    Why wouldnt you just name your files slightly different so you dont overwrite someone elses file postings? You may have overwrote files which may never get back on here.

Can you be more specific, I can't see any changes. I should be able 
to block this but usualy it's impossible to overwrite or erase other 
files than you own...

This is very odd; I thought only the original poster could edit or delete files. Does this mean that anyone can delete anyone else's files just by uploading a different file with the same name? I hope this is not the case.

On second thought: Are you sure someone replaced them? If you did not have midi-ox installed before but now have midi-on on your system, it is possible that the files are still the same, but your computer has now associated *.syx as midi-ox files--meaning that your computer will default to midi-ox when you try to open a *.syx file.

If this is waht really happened (not that someone overwrote the original files), then all you have to do is associate *.syx files with a different program (or none at all).

If I am right, depending on which OS you have, you will have different methods to re-associate the *.syx files.
