The Service manual of the VZ-1 can be loaded from here:

Maybe the display is the same. But I found no part number in there but
Some details how the LCD is controlled via a GAL.

In the VZ-1 it's a 64x96 pixel display - see page 19.

So strange how in the space of it sitting on a chair in the studio [on a cushion no less] for a week it went from perfect to trashed without me even switching it on, damaging it or even moving it. sigh.
