Hi Folks, I'm new the to the group. I have a question regarding sending SysEx patches to my VZ-10m. I am using SysEx librarian on my mac but having no joy sending file to the 10m. Does anyone have any advice they can share. I would be very grateful. Thanks for your time. Cheers, Nic.

(1) Did you get the transfers to work yet?
(2) If not, did you find the doc phonophobe pieced together and posted in the Files section of the main group?
I just opened it up using WordPad. IIRC I contributed some of the material phonophobe compiled and might be able to help. I have a dead battery in a VZ-8m and know I successfully sent data to the VZ--probably sometime within the past year or two.
If you haven't gotten it working yet, pay attention to the error messages. I found the specific working helpful in setting things up properly.
IIRC I used a sequencer that has the ability to send sysex files as banks. I probably used a version of Cakewalk software.) If you still need help, I can try it with MidiOx.

PS: Also, more recently someone created an on-line VZ voice editor. I believe it was hosted on his website. I know I tested it and gave feedback which was used to make some improvements. If that's still available, perhaps you could use that to load VZ banks and send them to the VZ.
