I had an idea recently...that it would be nice if someone with an extensive knowledge of low-end casios could make a webpage giving the details of each "series" of casios up to maybe 1993 (or whenever they got boring), and the interesting models from each. Because there are a lot of models out there and it's hard to find info on a lot of them. What I'm saying is that a lot of casios tend to be variations on a single voice architecture. There's the "early polyphonic" ones, like the CT-101 and whatnot, and the "early monophonic" ones, which would be the VL-1 and PT series, etc., and the early PCM ones, I guess stuff like the SK-1 and MT-240 would go in there... Then there are the SA series ones, etc. etc. I suppose something like this would require a lot of people to submit info on whatever casio junk they've got laying around. The Yamaha PSS keyboards are so much easier because most of them just use the same OPL and OPLL chips... _________________________________________________________________ The new MSN 8: advanced junk mail protection and 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail
