Casio CZ/ VZ/ FZ - Pro Series

Sysex for Local Off is:   Bn 7A 00.
Sysex for Local On is:    Bn 7A 7F.
where n = basic channel (00-0F)

I have no experience with the VZ-1, but these are part of the basic 
midi spec.  I hope they work for you.
