No need to use debug. You can look at the file in MidiOx's sysex view and see what channel the data is on and what type of data it is. Since MidiOx works with your setup and other gear, I can't see why it wouldn't work with your VZ. There's gotta be something you are missing. Long shot: In doing things for your other gear, did you do any channel or port routing that might be altering the VZ data on the way to the VZ? (Had to ask, just in case.)
