on topic part: i luv cz! i luv hidden parameters! i luv random patch 
generation with aforementioned hidden parameters! i'm bummed that i 
can't figure out how to do it again with the spectacular results from 
the 1st time. tried all the battery, ac adapter, and polarity switching 
solutions without much bonerific outcome. guess i'll just have to get in 
there with matucana's twea-cz and actually do some work...
