Casio CZ/ VZ/ FZ - Pro Series

What kind of device is the MPC-2000XL?  

If it transmits midi note data, pitch bend data, and modulation data, 
the CZ should respond to it based on the MIDI channel you have it set 
ro. CZs do not have Device IDs.

If the MPC-2000XL sends out sysex commands, take a look at the Casio 
MIDI Guidebook from Nov. 1985 in the files section.
