hi there, i am really glad i found this place, after trawling the web finding little bits of info on the cz series i think i have found somewhere useful. i just got a cz3000 the other day and am figuring out how to use it. i have been using soundlib patch editor with it. i am using about half of the memory spaces on the cz3000 with the rest left free but when i send sysex files from soundlib to the cz i get a "memory full!" error message even though there are spaces on the memory a bank number (usually D4) will flash alternately with the error message. if anyone could let me know how the memory banks work that would be great, for example, if i have my patches stored in the memory and then send sysex patches fromt the pc will it overwrite my own patches? and is there a way to clear the memory or designate which banks sysex patches will be sent to? i am really impressed with this machine, even tho i have only spent a day with it i can't wait to get into its guts and make the sounds i know it is capable of. any help is much appreciated. thanks in advance alistair
