Felipe, People have talked about isolating the data memory circuit, but I don't think anyone ever tried it. See this message: http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/CZsynth/message/2961?l=1 I don't think you need to isolate the memory circuit, because you can just connect a small voltage to the battery terminals and it will work the same. The battery terminals are already connected to the memory circuit in the appropriate way! --- In CZsynth@yahoogroups.com, Felipe Afonso <felipe2205@...> wrote: > > Since last 2 years i'm not using D. > I left the AC conected to the key. > > A friend of mine give a idea: > isolate the memory data bank circuit, > and feed it separately. > > Someone here have already did it? > > ----- Mensagem original ---- > De: stinkworx <stinkworx@...> > Para: CZsynth@yahoogroups.com > Enviadas: Terça-feira, 24 de Abril de 2007 21:27:14 > Assunto: [CZsynth] Re: CZ-1000 modifications...? > > meh. i guess it would be neat to be able to run it off batteries using > a single 9v battery instead of 6 D's...but i never run mine off > batteries and can't imagine where/why i would... > > i just used aluminum foil and tape and some spare wires (and the 4 > AA's) to make my battery pack...and taped it to the inside of the CZ > rather than putting it inside the battery compartment. i could always > wire a 9v battery snap into the battery compartment later.. > > but a friend says he's done this same trick, and only got a few weeks > of life out of the new battery pack before it died...!? i can't > imagine how the batteries could have drained so quickly tho...he ended > up having a lithium battery professionally installed... > > --- In CZsynth@yahoogroups .com, "Fulfil Objective" <kasploosh@ ..> wrote: > > > > I don't know what the original poster meant, but I can think of 2 > > advantages to doing it the way it's described. > > > > 1.
