In responce to my own message:

I dissasembled the CZ-1 and found 3 leaking caps on the power board.  
I also removed the right panel board (what a job) and sprayed both 
sliders with contact cleaner. Tomorrow, I'll run down to Radio Shack 
and see if the have the caps.  If not, I'll order them from 
PartsExpress.
