RE: [CZsynth] vz1 MIDI not working?

2008-02-14 by Scott Nordlund

In my experience, getting "buffer full" when using MidiOx means that the data is being sent too quickly, so try increasing the MidiOx output buffer size. I don't know about the "invalid parameter" problem (I've never used that program, it could just be a bug), but "cont no." is just a continuous controller assignment- you can set it to whatever you want.

Subject: [CZsynth] vz1 MIDI not working?

            hi all,

i am a proud owner of a vz, which i have been using mostly as a midi

controller....

i have this problem where i don;t know how to load some sounds that

you guys have generously shared.

im using winxp, with a presonus firebox- connected IN and OUT to the

VZ1, and i've been trying to use vz editor and midiox with no

success. i get the message "buffer full" on my vz screen when i try

to send syx in midiox,

and for vz editor i get an error from the program itself (after

setting 3-02 correctly and the screen is flashing "executing"- io

get the following mess "invalid paremeter was passed to a system

function"

what am i doing wrong? or is my midi port faulty? i have

successfully saved the default bank but can't load. i've been trying

to search online but so far i've come up with nothing...

sorry if this quesation has already been asked, but thanks in

advance!

also-what should the value in menu3-04 for "cont no." be?

best regards
