Re: [CZsynth] Re: cz 1000 sysex dump?

2009-07-15 by charlie from PARRY

i haven't had enough time to look at its details byte wise by byte wise
or or and or and ,, you know what i mean ,

but as far i i have found the same applies to the cz 101
for a sys ex dump request ..
hich differrs from a hand shake protocol, as far as i know the handshake
allows a time to be aknowledged and then times out waiting for data to be
processed and goes into comunication between two devices ,,

but the cz's just get envoked by the send data sys ex ....

for obtaining a dump , any body know how the bytes are handled and is there
any "OR" -ing of the bytes to
form bit shift numerics?

charles

> In the Files section there is a pdf of the Casio Midi Guide which explains
it all. Basically you need some device (such as a computer) to send a dump
request sysex command and to receive the sysex dump. Your sysex librarian
should be able to handle CZ transfers, if it lets you program in the sysex
commands.
