i thought of this too (fixing it,bypassing other previous old write errors) , but i am working inside such a tight confinement the fz would give errors alot .... like if i had made more than four or five just simple waveforms..not samples.... and tryied saving to disk ,it would just not write to disk correctily and he waveforms are small in memory right? compared to sample data or then its kinda malform its running state not allow voices to be loaded from other disks ,when trying to load mulitple voice from multiple voice disks or if it did succesfully load after reporting a couple bad disk reads, then saving all the data unto another disk was fouled too... seemed to remain in whatever state the previous disk had rendered it into so onto my main point now everything ok , but the original casio disks don't read , i've went beyond a restore and fix point to simplily fix new unknown state i need to take a small step backwards to fix and reset factory like state that site was a land mark it explained the problems disk drive posses when faulty and even shone light on how the data is stored on disk thanks charles
