Casio CZ/ VZ/ FZ - Pro Series

That sounds about right, I remember holding down a key too to initialize the
synth. Write sounds about right!! I think that the key might even also be
marked init or something along those lines.

	I have 2 VZ-8M's and both of them have dead internal batteries. I 
	reset them to factory preset condition by holding down the "write" 
	button upon power up. (I assume the VZ-10M has a similar reset 
	function). Then I either use cards or midi to reload the internal
bank 
	with sounds other than the presets.
