Thanks for the input guys, I was thinking about using the CZ-5000´s values, since the 3000 it is really a 5000 minus the sequencer... Steve: Not really, until now it has been quite a deal, here in my country a working condition CZ-3000 in my country sells at aprox. 1400 pesos (U$S350), I have spent U$S 60 on the 3000, plus U$S 15 on the touch switches and faders. The replacement work was done by myself since I can handle the soldering iron pretty well( a bit tedious work, each switch has 4 solder points, so I had desoldered/soldered like 500 times!!!). Regarding the CZ-5000 service manual, it is nearly 45Mb. It´s ok to upload such big files to the group´s file section? --- In CZsynth@yahoogroups.com, "steve_the_composer" <smw-mail@...> wrote: > > I agree with Simon. I know that the CZ-3000 responds to CZ-5000 sequencer memory dumps and it has the capacity to store sequencer dumps as well. Based on that I just assumed that the CZ-3000 was a CZ-5000 without the sequencer interface. > > Out of curiotity, I am wondering how much you are spending to service the CZ-3000. It sounds like you are spending more money to recondition the CZ-3000 than it would be to have gotten one in working condition. > > Also, could you upload the CZ-5000 Service manual to the files section? The CZ-1 was launched a couple of years later and while it featured an upgraded version of the same architecture, I doubt that the electronics are quite as similar. > > > > Simon >
