To send or receive a file you need to go to select device in the dump menu. set the device to midi (press the m key) and then cursor down to [remote control] you can't make any changes on that line, but you need to have the line selected. then initiate transfer from the fz ftu. As for cables -- I am receiving parts to make my own this weekend. I'll post any success stories. --- In CZsynth@yahoogroups.com, Lee Borrell <templarser@...> wrote: > > A couple more questions about FZ: > 1.I have tried the FZ utility in FILEs and I get TIMEOUT errors in the software and on the FZ - whilst I'd love to use the one that uses the parallel port -it would be good to even use the MIDI function -since I cannot transfer PC files without this. Has anyone got access to the remaining disks or the original Casio FL library? I'm looking for the 2 Meg Piano files in particular (think they were disks 68 A & B in the shareware library). Is the process for transferring a 2 Meg file with FZDump the same as a 1 Meg file? Can anyone help out? > > > > Thanks a lot! > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] >
