Hi, I own both synths the VZ-1 and the FS1R and in my opinion they are absolutely different beasts. And I love them! You can take a look to this video I made some time ago. It is a demonstration of several VZ-1 syx files I downloaded from the Internet. Some sounds are typical digital synth but other patches are really weird and fascinating (to me!) (I love the pads and human voices very much). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24QYv1j-vEs Note that the real sound is thicker and warmer than the one you can hear on the video (Youtube audio compression isn't very good :( ).
