It's not a standard 3.5" PC drive, I know that, which means it's a PITA to find a replacement for and not cheap either. I'm sure others will give more details about the spec (Google search should show up a lot of details). An alternative is to find a USB 3.5" drive emulator. There are after-market devices being offered that allow you to use a USB memory stick instead of floppies. They're not cheap, but do allow far greater flexibility and reliability.
