This may be an old post but it's still a worthwhile topic! I just pulled my cz-101 down to its case and gave it a thorough clean, inadvertently removing lubricants from the key bed at the same time. Now I have squeaky keys. From looking at the mechanism, the dry squeaky sound is coming from two plastic teeth which hold the key bed in place (a round cylinder for the black notes). What's a good lubricant for plastic? --- In CZsynth@yahoogroups.com, Rotundo Sealeg <rotundosealeg@...> wrote: > > My CZ-1000, aside from being my favorite keyboard, has a sticky and squeaky action to the keys. I was wondering if this was anyone else's experience, or if it was unique to my keyboard. Further, has anyone endeavored to open up said keyboard and clean the contacts or anything else that might alleviate said problem? > > Thanks so much, > > Nate > > > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] >
