If your DAW can send and receive sysex, you should be able to do it. From what you describe, you might want to send the patch (in sysex format) to the sound area, as opposed to a specific memory location in the CZ.

I have some standard midi files that send patches one at a time and then play a chord so you can hear the sound. Let me see if I can find the link.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
