So, I purchased the Virtual Cz and got me a USB MIDI Interface (ROLAND UM-3EX) to connect my CZ-5000 with my laptop, but I can't seem to make it work. I'm really new to all of this, I pretty sure I might have set something wrong or may have forgotten something. Do I require any additional software other than the Virtual CZ to allow patches to be sent on to the synth? I'm stuck here, I really just would like to be able to use the virtual CZ as a SYSEX editor and send the edited patches on to the CZ 5000 and play them from there?
Or did I get this all wrong?
