most led and oled displays are made by one manufacturer in china

they have stickers on the back for the different manufacturers names but all use the same pcb die

winstar colour fonts raystar and others they use the same pcb

maplins of uk now sell a version that is cheaper that is made by another manufacturer but its the same pcb as i now use that one for the

emax and dss1

For the cz101. So subject to what others have said of possible differences with the cz1 display, the process maybe similar.

Hi, all

Has anyone out there, who owns any of the CZ Cosmo series had any difficulty with the contrast of the display, e.g. the brightness being good, but the contrast being so faint that the display is all but unreadable? I've fiddled with the contrast control inside, but just can't get anything on the display.

On a side note, has anyone done an LED display conversion for any of the CZ series? I've seen one for the CZ-101, but I think the CZ-1's display is larger.

Thanks much for any and all help!

Dave
