Casio CZ/ VZ/ FZ - Pro Series

I think this has come up before and Kid Nepro sells that disc while some of us wonder whether to copy and distribute or not.

Hi all,

I managed to pick up a Casio FZ-20M a few years back, and thinking it being the last of the line of FZ's that it would have all the bells and whistles of the FZ series (FZ-1, FZ-10M). However, little official information seemed to be available to show what exactly it had over the other FZ's (other than the obvious "SCSI" connector), and also somewhat strangely many said it DIDN'T have the additive "synth" function that all the other FZ's had. I could never understand this, as why would Casio release a higher spec synth but not include the synth feature included with all the other models?

Tonight while surfing the internet, I finally found the answer via a picture of a Casio Promotional Leaflet.

The FZ-20M came with the "FL-D1" master disc, which included extra "operational functions". One of these functions is the "Wave Synthesis" feature that all the other FZ's had. Thus the FZ-20M COULD have the Wave Synthesis function, but it had to be loaded in via the FZ-D1 master disc. I assume they allocated some FZ-20M RAM to enable more variety of functions to be loaded in as and when was required, though there was only enough RAM for ONE operation to be loaded into the memory at any one time.

As can be expected, I never got the FL-D1 accessory disc with my FZ as it was likely long lost in the passage of time. Does anyone know where this disc can be obtained? Or if the programs on it can be found anywhere? I looked in the files section on here and it doesn't look to be included. Would love to get the WAVE Synthesis function working.
