PS: As long as you didn't cause the problem by zapping the CZ with static or any other means, it might be a good idea to try to get your money back. BTW, when I zapped my CZ-5000, I had it repaired by Triple S Electronics (in NJ, I believe) who (as I understand it) did factory repairs for Casio USA back "in the day" [1980s]. Not sure if they are still around, but they fixed mine back to factory specs.
