If voltages are fine and you recapped everything, it could be a digital failure (maybe some proprietary IC isn't working anymore). I read the service manual but didn't found any tip.
CPU seems to be working (otherwise you wouldn't get the init message on screen).
Are ROM ICs plugged into a socket, or are they soldered? Are the IC pure ROM or are they EPROM? In some cases, EPROM-based firmwares stop working due to aging.

Yup, tried all the above and it's still frozen. Everything was working fine and it just froze one day. Since, replace battery, PSU caps, voltages okay, etc. I wonder if there was a spike and those old caps didn't react properly, due to age. I wonder what might go out next after PSU?On Monday, January 16, 2017 7:16 PM, "Daniel Forró danforcz@... [CZsynth]" <CZsynth@yahoogroups.com> wrote:
Are you sure the battery is OK, and connected properly as for polarity? Are you sure no cable or connector inside was not disconnected, not perfectly connected or misconnected? Are you sure you perform System Initialize according to Service Manual?Daniel ForroOn Jan 17, 2017, at 4:04 AM, seanober@...
