Yes, and in this case we have to switch off Local function on the synth, or MIDI Through in the other machine (hardware or software sequencer). If not, there's a MIDI loop with all the bad consequences (doubling the note on data, half of polyphony on the instrument, chorus/flanging effect caused by doubling and MIDI latency...).
