I don't normally use MidiOX for Sysex but I just did some experimenting and
found that I needed to turn off the Midi In from the Options when sending to
the VZ-8. I checked in the manual for the VZ and there seems to be some
'hand shaking' and I think that when the Midi In is selected in MidiOX the
data is being passed to the Midi Out and 'merged' with the Sysex file
effectively corrupting it.

The VZ-1 and VZ-8 have the same Voice Data format so if you can't get it to
work, you could eMail the file to me and I will load it into my VZ to verify
it for you. This may be the quickest way of getting things moving.
