I have a correction to make. There is a small pinhole on the right side of the Casio RAM-500. If the battery compartment doesn't come out easily, you can insert the straightened out end of a paperclip in the hole to disengage one of the hooks holding in the compartment while you gently pull on the card. I took a good, well lighted and magnified look inside the end of the card and there is no danger with the end of the paperclip touching anything it shouldn't touch.
