Hey, new to the list. Quick cz1000 power cable question.

Hey, new to the list. Quick cz1000 power cable question.

2002-10-25 by Ryan G.

Hi.

I bought my cz1000 like, about 2 years ago, and I'm kind of sick of running it off 15$ worth of batteries. Is there a specific power supply that this uses? One that I could still order from casio? I read through some old posts and saw the name of the cz101's power supply, but I didn't know if it was the same as the 1000. Oh well, I will try to get my webpage back up so I can let you all hear how bad I've managed to maim the cz's sound :)

I've been running mine off the power supply from my Roland JV-30, and it
works fine. I expect any 9V supply with a sleeve = positive connector
would work.

You can buy them from http://www.casiotom.com/ if you want to be certain
the plugs match... Sometimes I have had the connectors not fit quite
right and really be a nuisance. You bump the thing and you lose all your
programs... Great stuff... Of course, if you can return it hassle
free... No big loss...

			Best of luck,
