Cz 1 as Masterkeyboard

Cz 1 as Masterkeyboard

2002-12-04 by Daniel Krüger

Hi!
Im using my CZ1 as a masterkeyboard. However, I cant use the internal soundgenerator while playing on the keyboard, becaus the keyboard is "hard-linked" to the sound generator.
It would be useful to switch off the internal connection between the keyboard an the soundgenerator and route the keyboard directly to the Midi-Out.
Does anybody know how to do that?? Or is there another way to use the soundgenerator independent of the keyboard??

Hi,

the midi implementation chart indicates that you can send a local off
signal via midi or simply set the keyboard to another midi channel
than the internal synthesizer part.

I hope this link helps...

Hi Daniel,

you need to send a local off message, Summa is right. However, modulation
wheel and pitch bend are not affected by this. So, if your CZ plays
something
and you play something else using the two wheels, the CZ bends according to
its internal settings...
