Czbankmanager for Windows

Czbankmanager for Windows

2003-05-08 by Daniel Krüger

Hi!
Except a few antique looking things such as Soundlib there are no usable sysex programs for the CZ , if you prefer MS Windows. After several attempts with an ATARI emulator, I gave up and decided to write my own CZ software.
called CZBankmanager so far (stupid name). Its still very simple and consists of two banks you can load sysexdata into, either from file or directly from your cz.
Now you can swap the entries of those banks and change the names of the patches. Finally you can send or save each bank.

Please test it and tell me if it works. You may follow this link: http://www.synthomania.de/czbank0.9a.zip

Remember this is just a quick hack, when i have a bit more freetime, i will finish it.
Daniel

I've used SoundQuest's Midiquest with success to program a CZ101. It wasn't
100% intuitive - I tried it again recently and wasn't able to do it but I
didn't have time to play with it at that point (had to grab the CZ and head
to a gig). It's just a matter of getting all the settings (on both sides of
the MIDI cable) right.

SoundDiver and MidiQuest both have functioning CZ librarian-editors.
