this memory issue again

I have recently bought a CZ-1000 and the batteries that came with it measure 1,58 V each (which seems all ok, right?). Though, it loses the internal patches after that it has been disconnected a few minutes. Anything to do about it? Luckily enough i also got a RAM cartridge which seems to work properly. How often should I change the cartridge battery/batteries?
