Casio CZ/ VZ/ FZ - Pro Series

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone on this board could help me out or had any 
ideas. I have a CZ-1000 that a friend of mine gave me. The big 
problem with it though is that after a few minutes (or seconds) of 
playing, it'll completely lock up. Sometimes this causes it to 
continue making one sound, until shut off, or stop making sound at 
all, but consistently, all of the buttons stop working.
I tried resetting it, and this seemed to do the trick for a bit, but 
now it's started doing it again. Any ideas out there?

I had a problem like these with my CZ-1, and it was caused by the power
supply, it was jammed. Try checking the voltage it¹s sending to the board.

That seemed to have done it! I plugged in a new PS that I knew worked 
well and -presto- working CZ.
