Casio CZ/ VZ/ FZ - Pro Series

Hi

I've a cz 1000 and found tools, patches and this group on the net. 
Now I would like to store and load patches or banks via midi on my 
pc. I tried with a patch editing software (cz sysex editor). PC and 
cz are linked by midi (both directions). midi button is pushed on cz. 
Testing connection was positive (could send/receive midi data with 
same connections and other software.

Neither importing nor exporting patches does show any actions on the 
pc or cz. I'm not sure if I do it the right way Since the manual does 
not describe this transaction. Has anyone experience or an idea if 
there's needed special settings or... ???

Tips would be appreciated

This might seem obvious, but have you made sure that the Write Protect switch is in the off position?

 now I can download single patches to the cz

Downloading complete patches (bank) at one time is not possible, 
and uploading (send to the PC is also not possible.

I'll stay searching for ideas
