CZ-101 / CZ-1000 sending program change / tone number

I have a Casio CZ-1000 and i'm trying to hook it up to a Casio GZ-50m General Midi - Expander. The only way to select a sound on this expander (since it doesn't have any buttons) is to send a program change / tone number (1-128) via MIDI. Can i do this with my CZ-1000? I know how to set the MIDI channel on my CZ-1000 but i have no idea how to send out program changes so i can actually access different sounds on my GZ-50m. Please help!
