FZ-1 patches on CZ-5000?

FZ-1 patches on CZ-5000?

2004-07-27 by teslakit

HI--Can I move patches from my FZ-1 sampler to my CZ-5000? What's the
best way to do this? I have some incredible stuff on the FZ-1, and
would like to move it over to CZ-5000. I have Cakewalk Home Studio
20002 on my PC, with MIDI connection--but no soundcard that will allow
me to record audio.
Thanks in advance---

Hi, I've CZ-5000 and FZ-1 too, but you cannot exchange patches between
them, it's totally different architecture. FZ-1 is a sampler with
subtractive synthesis, but CZ-5000 is synthesizer with PD-synthesis as
CZ-101 and others.
And buy a soundcard with record cappabilities - they're pretty cheap
these days.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
